On September 13, 2017 the GRAMMY Museum celebrated the History of LA Ska. Ska might be a household name these days but it wasn't 30+ years ago when groups of Southern California musicians and scenesters – inspired by the Jamaican grooves and British fashion of the ‘60s – dedicated themselves to a global genre and subculture to help kick start this revival. Five of the scene's most prominent figures gathered for a special intimate discussion at the GRAMMY Museum and reminisced about the early years, discussed their influences, working with the legends, and much more. Veteran radio host/emcee Junor Francis was the moderator.
