Jackson Browne, Jonathan Wilson, Jenny Lewis, Paul Beaubrun, Jon Russell, Habib Koite, Raul Rodriguez, and David Belle talk about the making of Let the Rhythm Lead: Haiti Song Summit Vol. 1. Conceived of by Jackson Browne for Artists for Peace and Justice, the project is the first in a series of meetings that bring together celebrated international songwriters within the rich music and culture of Haiti. The album was written and recorded over the course of two weeklong trips to Haiti, and principal production took place in the We are the World Studio A at the Artists Institute. This interview also includes behind the scenes images and video footage from the making of the album.
