Larkin Poe visited the GRAMMY Museum on January 22, 2020 to celebrate their first-ever GRAMMY nomination for Best Contemporary Blues Album for Venom & Faith. The Georgia-bred, Nashville-based duo's self-produced, chart-topping fourth album was recorded in Nashville in 2018 and reached #1 on Billboard’s “Top Blues Albums” chart amidst critical acclaim from Billboard, Rolling Stone, American Songwriter, Taste of Country, Paste and many more. Steeped in the traditions of Southern music but determined to create their own modern-day depiction of blues-based roots rock, Venom & Faith showcases sisters’ Megan and Rebecca Lovell's mastery in orchestrating, harmonizing and breathing new life into the musical heritage of their upbringing. Since forming in 2010, Larkin Poe have proven a formidable duo both in and out of the studio. They have opened for and been in the backing band of Elvis Costello and Conor Oberst, and were featured guest performers on Keith Urban’s Graffiti U world tour. Rebecca and Megan were also members of the all-star backing band for the 2017 MusiCares Person Of The Year tribute honoring Tom Petty.
