CBGB, the undeniable birthplace of New York City’s Rock, Folk and Punk Music, kicked-off its 50th anniversary at 315 Bowery. Hosted by John Varvatos, The GRAMMY Museum and The Clive Davis Institute, the evening honored the music, fashion, and culture that defined the legendary space.
Guests were treated to a panel discussion that included author and photographer Bob Gruen, drummer and founding member of The Cramps Miriam Linna, journalist Bob Christgau, rock critic Carola Dibbell, former manager of CBGB BG Hacker, MC and highly acclaimed Editor at Large at Billboard Joe Levy.
