On September 22, 2021, the GRAMMY Museum and Culture Impact Agency welcomed Quavo, Offset, and Takeoff from the GRAMMY-nominated multi-platinum trio, Migos, for a special conversation providing an intimate look into their journey, discussing their one-of-a-kind synergy, what helped them to become successful, and their culture impacting career achievements. The conversation was moderated by Billboard’s Hip-Hop Editor, Carl Lamarre.
Migos are one of the most influential groups in modern music. The trio has had a seismic impact on the music world with their seminal album, the RIAA Certified Platinum album CULTURE, which debuted at number 1 on the Billboard Charts. Migos released their second consecutive #1 album on Billboard’s Top 200 Chart, CULTURE II in January of 2018. On June 11, Migos released their third installment of the Culture series Culture III which debuted number two on the US Billboard 200 chart. The group has performed on Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, graced the covers of Rolling Stone, Billboard, XXL, Highsnobiety and more, broke the internet with their Carpool Karaoke appearance on James Corden, and were nominated for Best Rap Album and Best Rap Performance at the 2018 GRAMMY Awards.
