On September 10, 2018, the GRAMMY Museum welcomed R&B recording artist and songwriter Leon Bridges to the Museum for an intimate conversation. In 2015, Bridges’ first album, Coming Home, surprised the music industry by debuting at Number 5 on the Billboard Top 200. In a span of just three years, Coming Home would take Leon to the White House to perform for former President Obama, see him on the stage of Saturday Night Live, and earn him nominations for two GRAMMY Awards, including Best R&B album. In 2018, Leon released his second studio album, Good Thing, marking the beginning of a more modern R&B direction while staying true to his signature style.
