Peppermint is a trailblazing actress, singer, DJ, reality star, and activist who defies limitations. A longtime key figure in queer nightlife, Peppermint’s star rose thanks to her smashing success as the first out trans contestant on Rupaul’s Drag Race where she finished as runner-up in one of the series’ most-talked-about finales.
Peppermint has released two albums, 'Black Pepper' and ‘A Girl Like Me: Letters To My Lovers’ and most recently a remix EP ‘Letters The Remixes’.
Peppermint is working on second and third ‘A Girl Like Me’ albums in a trilogy of which all together explores the complications of her recent romantic relationship; from beginning, middle to end and from her personal perspective as a trans woman. The first album also spawned a short film, which is currently in consideration for a number of film festivals and will air later this year on OUTtv.
