As part of the GRAMMY Museum’s Programs at Home series, Moderator Scott Goldman talks with GRAMMY-nominated songwriter Luke Dick about the release of his new album, MUSIC FROM THE DOCUMENTARY RED DOG. The 13-song soundtrack, plus nine interludes, adds perspective to the story of Luke’s upbringing, which is told in his feature film documentary, “Red Dog.” Luke shares the spotlight with several superstar friends on the soundtrack, featuring artists such as Miranda Lambert, Dierks Bentley, The Black Keys’ Patrick Carney, The Highwomen’s Natalie Hemby, and rising country artist Jackson Dean. As a songwriter, Luke Dick has also co-written chart-topping, award-winning hits such as Miranda Lambert's "Bluebird," Kacey Musgraves’ “Velvet Elvis,” Dierks Bentley’s “Burning Man,” and Eric Church’s “Kill A Word” among many others. He is currently nominated for Best Country Song at the 63rd Annual GRAMMY Awards as a songwriter for “Bluebird.”
