ABOUT LA SANTA CECILIA
La Santa Cecilia is a Mexican American band founded in 2007 in Los Angeles, California, whose musical influences are found in genres such as bolero, folk, cumbia, ranchero, norteño, jazz, among others; and a unique style that gives shine to their music. Formed by La Marisoul (vocals), Pepe Carlos (guitar and accordion), Alex Bendaña (bass) and Miguel Ramírez (percussions), their talent has led them to be Grammy award winners in 2014. With more than 100 presentations during 2022 and 2023, La Santa Cecilia has gained great recognition by participating in international festivals such as the Cervantino International Festival in 2016 and 2023. As well as important festivals in Mexico such as Tecate Pa'l Norte and Vive Latino. In addition to performing in emblematic venues in the United States and Mexico. Their talent has led them to tour other countries such as Spain and Brazil, spreading their musical culture to other cultures.
ABOUT ALMA BOHEMIA
It's been 15 years since we started this journey together as La Santa Cecilia. We wanted to celebrate our quinceañera doing what we love most: singing, playing, drinking, and sharing with good friends. We returned to the songs that made us musicians. The boleros, the rancheras, those of Juanga and José Alfredo. We return to the songs that we enjoy singing when we are at home with family or in the bohemia among friends. We embarked on living an experience and taking musical portraits. Moments captured in the warmth of fire and good mezcal. When the feeling of a memory or a song overtakes us. Cuatro Copas is a celebration of life and a reflection of our friendship. The fire of music continues to burn in our hearts, and that blessing is worth celebrating!! May bohemia never die!!
Join us for a special screening of our documentary "Alma Bohemia" at the GRAMMY Museum on April 3rd at 7 PM. After the film, stick around for a Q&A hosted by Sebastian Krys, the producer behind our album. It's gonna be a chill night celebrating music, memories, and good vibes. Don't miss out – see you there! 🎶✨
