Just days ahead of the 61st Annual GRAMMY Awards where Kacey Musgraves won four GRAMMY Awards including Album of the Year, the GRAMMY Museum welcomed Kacey for a very special GRAMMY Week benefit program supporting the Museum’s education initiatives.

Multi-GRAMMY-winning singer-songwriter Kacey Musgraves released her third studio album Golden Hour (MCA Nashville) on March 30, 2018 which earned Kacey her third No. 1 debut on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart. The album was met with critical raves across the board, with Kacey winning Album of the Year and Best Country Album for Golden Hour, Best Country Solo Performance for “Butterflies,” and Best Country Song for “Space Cowboy” at the 61st Annual GRAMMY Awards. This followed Kacey’s historic Album of the Year win at the CMA Awards, with Kacey becoming the first female to win the category in four years and only the sixth female in the show’s 52-year history to do so. Golden Hour was also named Apple Music’s Album of The Year, and the album was named one of the best albums of the year by everyone from NPR, Time, The Associated Press, Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, Billboard, GQ, Esquire, American Songwriter, Complex, Consequence of Sound, Stereogum, and Vulture, among others.
