"On December 14, 2022, the GRAMMY Museum hosted a special screening of the HBO documentary film LOVE, LIZZO, followed by a post-screening conversation with multi-GRAMMY Award and Emmy award winning, RIAA multi-platinum certified superstar, Lizzo.
Every once in a while, an artist changes not only music but culture as well. Lizzo has done both. HBO Max has revealed two specials that celebrate the journey of a trailblazing superstar who has become the movement the world desperately needed just by being herself. The HBO Max documentary LOVE, LIZZO shares the inspirational story behind her humble beginnings to her meteoric rise with an intimate look into the moments that shaped her hard-earned rise to fame, success, love, and international stardom.
Lizzo's appearance at the GRAMMY Museum came just ahead of the 65th Annual GRAMMY Awards, where she won Record of the Year and was nominated in six categories altogther, including “Album of the Year” and “Best Pop Vocal Album” for SPECIAL, “Record of the Year,” “Song of the Year,” and “Best Pop Solo Performance” for her Billboard Hot 100 #1 worldwide smash “About Damn Time,” and “Best Remixed Recording” for the Purple Disco Machine “About Damn Time” remix.
